This is the Forest Hill School News Report 2008
Deborah Quysner's Year 8 Shackleton tutor group took the responsibility this year for producing Forest Hill's School Report. After several lessons worth of preparation the class came up to the 6th Form Media Suite where they divided into teams. The editorial team spent the morning researching and writing the breaking news stories while the studio team learnt how to operate the camera and sound mixer. Over the previous few days, Nicky Remice had also been working with a group to produce a local news package about the new school, building.
Tension rose as the 3.00pm deadline approached but the class did amazingly well and we went to air on time.
